Process layout

This application case features an automated grocery pickup solution for online orders, utilizing the Geek+ P500 mobile robot. When a customer who has purchased items online completes an authentication process at the pickup zone, the robot retrieves and delivers the specific cart containing their items, enabling a fully automated end-to-end shopping and delivery system.

Components

Robot
  • Robot: Geek+ P500

    • Max Payload: 600kg (Ideal for heavy groceries and liquids)

    • Speed: 2.0m/s (Empty) / 1.6m/s (Full load)

    • Navigation: Inertial Sensor + QR Code

    • Dimensions: L950 x W702 x H275 mm / Weight: 170kg

    • Lifting Height: 60mm / Stop Accuracy: ±10mm

    • Efficiency: 2–3 hours of operation with a 10-minute charge.

    • Operating Temp: -20°C to 50°C (Compatible with cold storage environments).

Workflow

STEP 1.Order Reception: An online order is placed and processed by the store's system.
STEP 2.Targeting: The P500 robot navigates to the specific shelf or cart rack where the prepared order is stored.
STEP 3.Delivery: The robot lifts the rack and transports it directly to the designated picking/pickup zone for the customer or staff.

LG CNS Smart Logistics Equipment (Hybrid Wheel Sorter)

This application case features the LG CNS Hybrid Wheel Sorter, a smart logistics solution that enhances sorting accuracy and stability by improving the structural drawbacks of conventional circular roller wheel sorters through a belt-type application. It is an ideal solution for scenarios requiring the stable sorting of long items, sacks, and irregular-shaped cargo. The Belt-Type Wheel Sorter is a next-generation wheel sorter developed to overcome sorting errors caused by the narrow contact surfaces of traditional circular rollers. By replacing circular rollers with belt-type rollers, the contact area with the cargo is widened, significantly improving both sorting precision and stability. Additionally, its modular configuration ensures easy installation and maintenance. This system enables the construction of efficient logistics centers capable of handling high throughput by stably transporting and sorting diverse types of goods.
