Process layout
This application case features the implementation of the LG CNS Multi-Level Shuttle (MLS) system.
The Multi-Level Shuttle is a high-efficiency, "Light Version" shuttle AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) based on LG CNS's proprietary technology. By employing two shuttles operating in sync within the same aisle, it achieves over 1.6 times higher productivity than traditional single-shuttle systems. Furthermore, its modular design allows for horizontal and vertical expansion, much like LEGO blocks.
Unlike conventional AS/RS systems that require large-scale installation and high investment costs, the MLS minimizes floor space by sharing shuttle travel paths across racks configured in two or more rows. This allows for installation in much tighter spaces. Its simple, module-based design is realized through the use of lightweight forming racks.
As an advanced shuttle system with built-in collision avoidance, it enables real-time storage and high-speed inbound/outbound processing while maximizing space efficiency through shared aisle technology.
Workflow
| STEP 1. | Goods arriving at the logistics center are transported via the inbound conveyor. |
|---|---|
| STEP 2. | The MLS picker automatically loads and stores the products arriving from the conveyor. |
| STEP 3. | The shuttle picker performs real-time picking according to outbound order requests. |
| STEP 4. | Picked items are loaded onto the outbound conveyor. |
| STEP 5. | Products moving along the outbound conveyor are dispatched from the logistics center to their final destinations. |

Logistics Automation System using OAGV - CL100
Are you burdened by the high cost of logistics robots for moving items weighing 1 to 20kg? Between massive equipment investments and ongoing maintenance, the barriers to entry can be high. Omorobot offers a solution with our OAGV (DIY-type Logistics Robot)—an affordable, simple, and highly reliable system. The OAGV is a modular logistics robot assembled using controllers and sensors designed and manufactured in-house by Omorobot, drawing from extensive robot development experience. The standard platform can carry up to 150kg and navigates by following reflective tape on the floor, using credit-card-sized tags to identify specific locations for transport or return. It is ideal for transporting rectangular loads like plastic (PP, PE) or cardboard boxes (up to 650mm x 550mm), making it perfect for facilities requiring repetitive transport of low-to-medium loads.
Smart Palletizing using the Hyundai Robotics HH050 and Mech-Mind 3D Vision 🦾🤖
Process Overview This palletizing automation solution uses the Hyundai Robotics HH050 and Mech-Mind 3D vision to detect mixed-size boxes, align them by size, and automatically stack them onto pallets. By leveraging a cost-effective 3D vision system, the cell can reliably palletize even when cartons of varying dimensions are mixed in the flow, ensuring stable operation.
