Process Overview

This is a case where Bigwave Robotics (Marosol) installed the second-generation LG CLOi double-door delivery robot at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital for medication delivery. The second-generation LG CLOi double-door delivery robot was connected to SOLlink, which was used to build infrastructure such as elevators and automatic doors, so that medicine could be delivered from the pharmacy on the first floor to the nursing stations in each ward.

  • Simplified automatic charging after delivery using a wireless charging station

Results

Key Benefits
24-hour operation High customer satisfaction due to excellent obstacle avoidance and delivery performance Increased convenience due to wireless charging station that does not require manual charging Replaces manpower in repetitive tasks
Client Feedback
Previously, medical staffs had to be physically present on-site to perform the work, but the use of robots significantly increased efficiency by eliminating the need for human intervention. The introduction of robots significantly reduced the time spent traveling to receive medication, freeing up more time for other tasks. The convenience of remotely monitoring robot status and commanding them is also appreciated.

LG CLOi Serving Robot (Drawer Type)

LG CLOi Serving Robot (Drawer Type)

This solution is a simulation of food serving using the LG CLOi ServeBot (Drawer type) developed by LG Electronics. The LG CLOi ServeBot (Drawer type) is a robot capable of safely delivering items. It can carry items in three drawers (two for the large model) while navigating, and each drawer allows for secure delivery using a password. You can summon the robot, schedule operations, and monitor it anytime, anywhere via a mobile app. We provide the optimal solution by selecting the model best suited for the site, choosing between a standard 3-tier storage model and a high-capacity 2-tier storage model.
