This logistics automation solution utilizes a compact AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) to perform indoor material transport tasks.
Based on multi-sensor fusion including Lidar, Camera, RGBD, IMU, and Encoders, the robot can move freely within designated areas. It supports both a "Delivery Mode" for transporting items to specific locations and a "Cruise Mode" for moving repeatedly along a pre-set path.
By facilitating the movement of goods within the workplace, this solution reduces worker fatigue caused by repetitive manual labor and increases overall operational efficiency. It can also safely transport chemical, fresh, or medical supplies, as well as hazardous materials, within the facility.
IMU: A sensor-based device that measures the velocity, orientation, gravity, and acceleration of a moving object.
Encoder: A transducer in digital electronic circuits that converts signals from one code sequence to another.

Features
Simple and Fast Installation
Efficient Process: Ceiling marker attachment → Robot path learning → Map registration → Trial run and training.
Rapid Deployment: The entire process can be completed within one day (e.g., within 2 hours for a 165 $m^2$ area; varies by size and layout).
Minimal Infrastructure: No additional facility construction is required beyond ceiling marker placement.
Differentiated Software Technology
Multi-Map Support: Multiple site maps can be saved and selected as needed.
Three Selectable Idle Modes:
One-to-one parking mode: Each robot returns to its specific designated spot after completing a task.
Free mode: Robots return freely to any available space within a defined parking zone after work.
Parking replenishment mode: Sets designated parking and standby areas; the first robot to arrive takes the parking spot, while subsequent robots wait in the standby area.
Multi-Robot Collaboration
Pudu Cloud Integration: Robots share orders in real-time via the Pudu Cloud, enabling collaboration by yielding or avoiding each other based on order priority.
Scalability: Up to 100 robots can collaborate seamlessly.
High Performance for Safe Operation
Advanced Vision: Equipped with two high-performance RGBD cameras (co-developed with Intel) providing a 174° wide field of view to detect obstacles and unexpected situations from the front and sides.
PUDU SLAM: Uses proprietary autonomous driving technology that combines LiDAR, RGBD cameras, and ceiling markers for precise positioning.
Reliable Maintenance: Accessible through a nationwide official A/S maintenance network equivalent to the headquarters' standards.
Customer-Centric Purchase Programs
Flexible Options: Offers various programs including direct purchase, long-term rental, and short-term rentals for events.
Results
| ROI Period | 12 months |
|---|---|
| Key Benefits | Increased work focus by minimizing the physical movement and travel distance of workers.
|
| Client Feedback | Usually, introducing logistics robots like AGVs is a difficult decision due to high costs. However, PuduBot allowed us to move forward because of its relatively low cost and the extreme simplicity of its installation and operation.
