This application case features an unmanned warehouse system utilizing the Geek+ P800 picking robot. By distinguishing between long-term storage items and high-frequency goods, the system implements an intelligent warehouse management model that enhances customer accessibility and convenience. This solution maximizes space utilization by storing a high volume of goods within a compact footprint.

Components

Robot
  • Robot: Geek+ P800

    • Max Payload: 1,000kg

    • Speed: 2.0m/s (Empty) / 1.6m/s (Full load)

    • Navigation: Inertial Sensor + QR Code

    • Dimensions: L1090 x W830 x H275 mm / Weight: 195kg

    • Lifting Height: 60mm / Stop Accuracy: ±10mm

    • Efficiency: 2–3 hours of operation with a 10-minute charge.

    • Operating Temp: -20°C to 50°C.

Workflow

STEP 1.[Storage Process]
STEP 2.Storage Request: A request to store items is initiated by the user or system.
STEP 3.Retrieval: The robot navigates to the specific rack designated for storage.
STEP 4.Transport: The robot lifts the rack and moves it to the input (inbound) position.
STEP 5.Loading: Items are placed onto the rack.
STEP 6.Stowage: The robot transports the rack to its optimal storage location. [Retrieval Process]
STEP 7.Pickup Request: A request to retrieve stored items is received.
STEP 8.Targeting: The robot identifies and navigates to the corresponding rack.
STEP 9.Transport: The robot lifts the rack and carries it to the pickup (outbound) zone.
STEP 10.Collection: The specific items are picked from the rack.
STEP 11.Return: The robot returns the rack to its designated storage area.

Recommended Use Cases

Pallet Wrapping using OMRON LD-250

Pallet Wrapping using OMRON LD-250

This solution is a pallet wrapping process utilizing OMRON's LD-250. OMRON's LD-250 mobile robot is an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) that creates its own maps and navigates along optimal paths in real-time, adapting to constantly changing site conditions. With a generous payload capacity of 250kg, the LD-250 is perfectly suited for automating pallet wrapping tasks, which often carry risks of safety accidents.

LG CNS Multi-Level Shuttle (MLS)

LG CNS Multi-Level Shuttle (MLS)

This application case features the implementation of the LG CNS Multi-Level Shuttle (MLS) system. The Multi-Level Shuttle is a high-efficiency, "Light Version" shuttle AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) based on LG CNS's proprietary technology. By employing two shuttles operating in sync within the same aisle, it achieves over 1.6 times higher productivity than traditional single-shuttle systems. Furthermore, its modular design allows for horizontal and vertical expansion, much like LEGO blocks. Unlike conventional AS/RS systems that require large-scale installation and high investment costs, the MLS minimizes floor space by sharing shuttle travel paths across racks configured in two or more rows. This allows for installation in much tighter spaces. Its simple, module-based design is realized through the use of lightweight forming racks. As an advanced shuttle system with built-in collision avoidance, it enables real-time storage and high-speed inbound/outbound processing while maximizing space efficiency through shared aisle technology.

LG CNS Smart Gantry System

LG CNS Smart Gantry System

This application case features the implementation of LG CNS's Dual-Picking Smart Gantry System. The Smart Gantry System is the world's first solution to apply a high-speed dual-fork method, enabling multi-sorting transport and stacking. Compared to single-type gantries, it maximizes space utilization by eliminating picking blind spots. Equipped with an optimization algorithm, the two pickers can operate simultaneously or independently from both sides of the bridge, allowing for rapid picking and storage. This system meets the evolving demands for high-performance automated equipment capable of "Storage + Picking + Process Integration," moving beyond traditional warehouse-style storage logistics. It offers superior flexibility and utility compared to other storage facilities.
