Process Overview
Bigwave Robotics (Marosol) deployed a logistics robot, GoCart180, at Hanrim Daesung Hospital. One unit was installed in the surgery center to transport high-payload medical materials and support clinical staff operations.
Warranty Period : 1 year
Project Year : 2023
Project Duration : 1 day
Project Background and Objectives
Transport heavy or bulky items that are difficult for staff to carry manually.
Support medical staff and enable rapid response to address growing healthcare operational challenges driven by an aging population.
Help prevent musculoskeletal disorders by reducing manual handling load.
Components
| Robot | Yujin Robot GoCart180 Maximum payload 180 kg, rated load 130 kg, speed 4.76 km/h, dimensions 73 × 53 × 42. |
|---|---|
| Peripherals | Upper tray (custom-built) Tablet stand Anti-slip pad Charging dock SOLink |
Workflow
| STEP 1. | Using the tablet mounted on the upper tray (via SOLink), the operator sends a dispatch command to move items to the required location |
|---|---|
| STEP 2. | When the robot arrives, the operator loads the items onto the upper tray and commands the robot to transport to the destination |
| STEP 3. | After arrival, the operator unloads the items and commands the robot to return to the charging location |
| STEP 4. | The robot remains on standby while charging. |
Features
Customizable upper-tray configuration.
A tablet mount can be custom-built on the upper tray for easier operation
An anti-slip mat and side guards can be added to help prevent items from sliding or falling
Autonomous navigation capability.
High-payload transport by robot helps prevent musculoskeletal disorders for staff.
While the robot is transporting items, staff can focus on other tasks, improving overall work efficiency.

Recommended Solution
LG CLOi Sterilization Robot
This solution is a case study of sterilization tests and pilot operations in various vertical environments utilizing the LG CLOi UV-C Bot developed by LG Electronics. The LG CLOi UV-C Bot is a robot equipped with six UV-C lamps on each side that moves to sterilize spaces within a maximum area of 1 meter by up to 99.999%. It can operate in narrow spaces and passageways and can be used continuously for up to 6 hours. With its easy operation method, users can directly map and specify the robot's path, monitor the progress of sterilization remotely via an app, and receive a notification upon completion of operation to inform the user that disinfection is finished.
Large Hospital Sterilization and Goods Transportation using Twinny Nargo and Bykiller
This sterilization robot is a 2-in-1 autonomous logistics capable of transporting essential supplies for large hospital while simultaneously completing Disinfection within wards. The Nargo Bykiller solution utilizes triple safety sensors and autonomous driving technology to safely perform tasks even in crowded and complex indoor environments. Furthermore, equipped with a powerful three-stage air purification function, it offers excellent sterilization, deodorization, and harmful gas decomposition effects even while in motion. By automating the supply and collection of items for each department, it allows hospital staff to focus more on patient care. It offers a double benefit: in these times of heightened concern over infectious diseases like COVID-19, it enables Hospital visitors to visit with peace of mind. This project was undertaken not only to prevent the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 through air purification and sterilization, but also to eliminate concerns about viral infection by introducing a reassuring sterilization solution for Hospital visitors. Following the project, work fatigue caused by increased patient care was reduced by minimizing hospital travel distances, and customer responsiveness was enhanced through efficient division of labor.
