This automation case features a ceiling-mounted 12-meter range extender paired with a Universal Robots UR10 to automate auxiliary tasks for three CNC machines. To meet the high-volume requirements of a critical production contract, three CNC lathes needed to be reorganized within a tight timeframe. By utilizing Vention’s range extender and intuitive design software, the team successfully automated the entire machine tending and post-processing inspection system using a single robot.
