Process layout
This automated packaging solution utilizes the COMAU Racer-5 to automate the manual process of loading cosmetic containers into boxes.
The system picks up containers arriving in a single line and arranges them into organized rows within the box. It also automates the placement of interlayer sheets (dividers) between each layer of products, ensuring maximum productivity while minimizing management touchpoints. By handling both the product and the packaging material, the robot provides a seamless and efficient end-of-line solution.

Workflow
| STEP 1. | Infeeding: Cosmetic containers are fed into the system via conveyor. |
|---|---|
| STEP 2. | Alignment: Products are aligned for consistent pick-up. |
| STEP 3. | Picking: The robot picks up the product using its specialized tool. |
| STEP 4. | Packing: Containers are loaded into the box in a designated pattern. |
| STEP 5. | Tool Change (Sheet): The robot switches to the sheet-handling tool. |
| STEP 6. | Sheet Insertion: An interlayer sheet is placed on top of the first layer of products. |
| STEP 7. | Tool Change (Product): The robot switches back to the product-handling tool. |
| STEP 8. | Final Packing: The next layer of products is loaded into the box. |
