This automated cutting solution is designed to handle medical surgical fabrics of varying lengths up to 3 meters. With professional support from Vention’s engineering team, the system successfully automates the process of extending the fabric to precise lengths using pneumatic grippers and feeding rollers, followed by accurate cutting using a timing belt actuator.

Workflow

STEP 1.	Infeed: The raw surgical fabric roll is loaded into the system.
STEP 2.	Extension: Feeding rollers and pneumatic grippers extend the fabric to the desired target length (up to 3m).
STEP 3.	Cutting: A timing belt actuator moves the cutting head across the fabric to complete the automated cut.
