Beep Beep🚨A Comparison of Application Cases of Patrol Robots That Find Anything
Hello everyone! I haven't forgotten to visit you again today. Marosol Intern Pengbok Employee It is 🐧
Hello everyone! It’s Pengbok, the Marosol intern, back again today! 🐧
Recently, I went to a department store to buy a friend's birthday gift, and I saw a robot diligently weaving through the crowds on the first floor! Being a penguin "robot" myself (as you all know!), I had to take a closer look.
I carefully snapped a picture of the rear end.
It turns out this was 'KUBRIC,' an anti-epidemic safety mobility robot developed by Integrit! KUBRIC uses high-resolution vision cameras to recognize objects and pedestrians, boasting a low-center-of-gravity, low-orbit design for silent and stable autonomous driving.
It was busy checking the temperatures and mask-wearing status of customers, providing alerts for any anomalies. It's fascinating to see robots helping strictly maintain hygiene rules at the country's largest department store! It’s quite a relief to see a robot handle such a tedious task. 😊

Today’s featured application is also a patrol robot that roams large spaces—the 'PATROVER' indoor/outdoor patrol robot !
Marosol has three different patrol robot application cases from Dogo. Let's compare them one by one, starting with PATROVER. Brian, are you ready?
Jet Interview
Q. Hello Brian! It’s been scorching lately with the heatwave, hasn't it? How have you been?
Hello Pengbok! Since we moved to full remote work due to Level 4 COVID restrictions, it’s been hard to see each other in person.
Q. I know! That’s why today’s case feels even more relevant. From basic patrolling to disinfection and fire detection—can you introduce Dogo's patrol robot cases?
All patrol robots utilize real-time environment recognition solutions to autonomously navigate the safest paths. Simply put, they can detect, stop for, and avoid obstacles.
Let's break down the three cases:
CORSO (Indoor Patrol): Performs patrols during both busy days and quiet nights to recognize hazards and alert managers.

Recently, Dasarang Hospital in Buyeo introduced this robot through Marosol. To ease the fatigue of night-shift workers, the robot roams the hospital interior to check for any patients leaving their designated areas.
CAMPION (Disinfection): This robot performs disinfection in large indoor spaces like shopping malls, museums, and offices. It uses a combination of spray disinfectants, UV lamps, and autonomous navigation for an efficient double-sterilization process.

CAMPION is developed as an autonomous disinfection robot that enables the issuance of disinfection certificates for buildings over 3,000 square meters. It’s an incredibly useful robot in today's COVID-aware world!
Q. These three robots are impressive, but a bit confusing. How should we distinguish them?
That’s when we use Marosol's "Compare" feature!
You can check out more details not included in the image directly through the comparison feature.
The Disinfection Robot robot is currently undergoing a renewal, and unit prices are subject to change depending on production quantity and concept. We will Guide an accurate quote after August.

Q. I see some notable differences! Especially PATROVER, the outdoor model—its positional accuracy and incline handling seem different.
Correct. Since PATROVER operates outdoors, positional accuracy is vital. When connected to RTK GPS, it stays within 4cm, and within 10cm even in GPS shadow areas. You wouldn't want to lose an expensive robot because you didn't know where it was! 🧐
It can also climb inclines of up to 20 degrees. Its performance has been verified in various outdoor environments like sidewalks, speed bumps, and crosswalks.
Q. All three take 10 hours to charge, but PATROVER has the shortest operating time at 5 hours. How does it know when to charge? 😅
Just like humans go to eat when they're hungry, this robot moves on its own when the battery is low.
It is a robot that moves very diligently, going in and out of charging stations installed nearby to eat and work.
Q. Amazing! I heard it can also measure air quality?
Yes, PATROVER can monitor harmful gases (O3, NO2, SO2, etc.) and fine dust in real-time. It can also detect fires or play audio files upon request.
After the tragic fire at the Icheon Coupang warehouse, we realized that if robots like this were deployed, such accidents could be prevented early. These robots will be a huge help in preventing accidents under the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
Q. I heard it can even drive autonomously in the dark at night!
Thanks to its lighting and audio systems designed for pedestrian safety, it can turn on its lights and navigate safely through the dark without any collision worries.
🐧: It avoids people and detects fires! It seems useful for so many purposes.
🧑: Exactly. From department stores and offices to outdoor factories, we’re seeing a lot of inquiries lately.
🐧: Especially in places like department stores, it would be great for attracting customer interest! 😊
