 Q2. What kind of company is Cobra Studio?

Our Cobra Studio is a team that specializes in filming TV CFs, movies, and music videos using robots. Not only industrial robots but also collaborative robots are used to film event videos such as exhibitions and event halls, and we are a company that also provides event solutions.

Q3. There must be many advantages to filming through a camera. What are the representative advantages?

The advantage is that it can film faster and with fewer errors than a person filming. If you enter coordinate values into the robot and set the camera movement path and speed, it can move accurately without error, allowing for various filming effects or CG work. Also, because it can move repeatedly, efficient filming is possible.

Q4. This time, you repurchased the KUKA KR3100. Is there a reason you chose the KUKA KR3100 and why you repurchased it?

The reason we chose the KUKA robot is that various overseas robot filming software can be applied to KUKA robots. Also, KUKA provides separate software for filming. This program allows workers to film more conveniently and precisely, making it perfect as a filming robot. Among them, we chose the KR3100 model because of its suitable payload for filming and sufficient robot arm length.

The reason we repurchased the KUKA KR3100 is that we had used a KUKA robot once before. When we first purchased the robot, we spent a lot of time adjusting it to our filming system and environment, so we had to postpone the filming schedule. Since we had experience customizing it once at that time, we purchased one more of the same model this time.

Q5. Is there a reason you purchased the KUKA KR3100 through Marosol this time?

Actually, to purchase a robot, a large amount of money goes in at once, so we were hesitating to invest. In the meantime, Deputy Manager Choi Chang-yong of KUKA Korea introduced Marosol. Actually, a robot is not a car, so I didn't think I would be able to purchase it in installments. Also, in our case, the color had to be the same as the existing model and they had to be compatible with each other, so we had many requirements, but they took good care of even those detailed parts, which was a big help.
