We conducted a survey among 100 Marosol customers. To the question about the 'biggest reason for hesitating to introduce robots,' 22% of people chose high initial investment costs. Although we live in an era where robots are needed more than ever, opaque and high initial investment costs are holding customers back. Furthermore, the fact that robots, which cost more than a car, could previously only be purchased in a lump sum was one of the factors causing hesitation in robot introduction.



To solve these problems, Marosol created robot financial products. The main goal was to create a robot ecosystem where robot introduction is made easier by lowering financial and economic barriers for customers.   It didn't take long for Marosol's sincerity to reach its customers. 

Since first introducing robot financial products in 2022, we have achieved results such as a cumulative 500 customer companies, 70 robots, and a transaction amount of approximately 2 billion KRW. This means that 40% of Marosol's total sales were achieved through RaaS (Robot as a Service financial products)

What was so special about Marosol's financial products that shook up the robot ecosystem?



Making leasing and rental possible for robots too 🙌 


First, we created lease and rental products by consulting with various rental companies so that expensive robot automation can be carried out without the need for a large sum of money. By introducing robot-specific financial programs such as lease/rental, we made installment payments possible from 12 to 36 months. In the case of some robots, we helped customers use financial products interest-free in this era of high interest rates through interest support benefits in connection with support projects.



 We've completely removed the price bubble 🧹


 Marosol created RaaS (robot financial products) to eliminate price bubbles in robots by standing on the side of the consumer. Through large-scale direct transactions with robot manufacturers, we were able to remove the price bubble that occurs during the intermediate distribution process and lower the supply price.

Marosol has also further enhanced customer convenience by signing a partnership agreement related to robot liability insurance with Lotte Insurance. Previously, when business owners operated serving robots or barista robots in restaurants and cafes, they had to sign up for additional collateral separately from business liability insurance. 

To resolve the inconvenience for consumers arising from this, the robot liability insurance released by Lotte Insurance and Marosol has increased convenience by including business liability, premises medical expenses, and product liability (food and beverage) into one insurance service (product).

Q. Can we do a short-term rental for a guide robot to use at an exhibition?


We are a company that participated in the IFSS WorldLab Seoul 2022 exhibition. We wanted a guide robot that could effectively promote our booth. Since we planned to use it only during the exhibition period, we wanted to rent it for only 5 days, but there weren't many places where such short-term rentals were possible.   Q. Industrial robots specialized for filming are too expensive; is there any way? 


We are a studio that mainly carries out music video filming. We already had a filming robot we were using, but we wanted one more robot for studio expansion. However, since the robot we wanted was a special robot for filming, the investment cost was very high, so there was a burden on funds.
